The facts are we have just taken the 1pt in the last 2 months and struggled to get past Woodford so no team we face now will be easy. The game is about us not Dover and getting our game right building upon last Saturday's second half performance, we have a few on suspensions and cup tied I think so it won't be the same team. As EH says if we show what we did in the second half then Dover will have to play really well to get anything out of the game, but if we play as did in the first half we will be out of the trophy and Delboy will be getting them Emails.

I'm not writing Dover off but they will have to play substantially better than when i saw them.We on the other hand have a better team than we did when we played Woodford.Continue the negativity if you wish but lets face it if i came on here and said we would get stuffed what would you say?Ernie reckons it could be relatively straightforward.

So do the Dover fans...
Every prediction bar a single 2-2 draw is down as a Dover win.

Indeed it's a bit hypocritical of Dover fans to accuse us of arrogance when you look at the posts on their forum about Saturday's game.

Not one Dover fan is being arrogant we just know how well we have been playing and last night against Tooting made it 8 wins out of 8. Yes it will be tough if you play to your league status but we are top and you are bottom so not much in it really. I'm just saying that you are well and truly in a game guys. dafctv.1066-media.com/Videos/TandM_Home.htm

BeautifulBoy, we can read league tables. And as an ex-Ryman side, we're more than well aware Dover are doing well as we tend to keep an eye on our old surroundings. Plus the two main sides currently with you at the top of Div 1 South are near neighbours of ours.
So quite frankly stating "you're in for a game" really is a waste of time.
And anyone thinking Ernie is dissing Dover as a walkover in that article really needs to sit down, have a nice cup of tea and stop reading the Sun\watching Sky sports so much.

I wouldn't be too scared from that video, shocking finishing from Dover and terrible defending from Tooting.
That's not to say we're better but simply you've got some rose tinted specs on if you think that's anything too impressive. You could've scored 7 or 8!

TBH Sutton's priority is trying to stay in Blue Square South, and Saturday's game is a pleasant diversion from our struggles in the league. I'm not terribly bothered about the result at Dover - a win would be great, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if we lost, so long as we're spared any major embarrassment. I'm just looking forward to a good day out - and some decent Kentish ale.

Indeed! A nice all dayer i reckon, get into Dover nice and early, have a few ales, pootle down to the crabble for the game, sing a bit and see what the lads can do and enjoy the break from the league. I still want to win though Not bad at £12 return on the train from Brighton either

The £3,000 FA prize fund money for the winners of this game would come in very handy too

Good luck Saturday everybody hope you can turn them over. I've seen them twice this season and they are a well organized tidy outfit. If you let them play they will take advantage. Also, huge fan base who are very vocal. Get you singing hats on boys and girls!
