New to all this so please excuse me if I get anything wrong. Football is a game of opinions and this is mine regarding the current situation. I've watched so much football in my time and there are def some serious problems at the minute, too many players not pulling there weight and some very strange selections!!!!! I would imagine our wage bill is at the higher end of the league spectrum and to be honest there hasn't been near enough quality shown by so called players from higher levels. Where do I start Southam what has he bought to the team apart from bookings and his voice! Kane is twice the player! Callum hart has made way to many errors, the list is endless! I feel dos has lost the dressing room as to many times we are just getting rolled over. I want the future to be with dos but the current levels of performance suggest he's not getting the best out of the squad we have. Remember this is my opinion not meaning to upset anyone I don't like to jump on new forum members but 'Dos' has not lost the dressing room, he is far too strong a character for that ever too happen. I stood with many others on here, on the terraces in that season before Dos came to our rescue, and if you want bad then that's the place to look! Dos is a winner and I wouldn't mind a very large bet that the managers job is his for as long as he want's it. Our job is to make sure he wants it for a very long time to come. Any hope we have of playing at a higher level rests with him!!!!!

The comment from mark n suggesting that recent form has not gone unnoticed at the top suggests, the board are getting restless with Dos. I may be wrong but I thought that meant Dos and his team.

Changes are needed, as Dos has identified in the aforementioned article and I am confident that whatever changes he makes or does not make will be made in the best interest of the club both on and off the pitch, whilst we all have our opinions about who is 'not worthy of the shirt' at this moment we have to remember that every member of the playing staff is someone Dos himself as brought in, if he thinks they are up to it then so do I. On top of this one or two of the players who could be considered as such have shown previously that they are capable of much better so we should be supporting them, as I'm sure Dos is, to return to that level of performance. We know Sutton can do better and if I'm honest that's a great position to be in albeit frustrating, definitely better to know your team can improve than for it to be as good as it can get, we will turn things around this season is still in the starting blocks so there's plenty of time for us to achieve our ambitions.

Sorry, In Dos we trust. Why is he not a director, or at least a Life VP. The man is a legend, transformed a team going nowhere into a team who by rights should be in the Conference Prem. Over the last closed season, due to his influence, our ground has improved immensely, with I'm sure more to come.
We are in mid table, and will move up. Don't forget Dos and his staff are hurting as much as we are. The problem will be solved, and we'll come back stronger, as we have since the guv took charge.

Think John is injured? But yes thought he partnered Clough well last season when our defence was miserly and was surprised he went out on loan. Looks like we have another defender incoming. Pretty sure I saw him at the FC Romania game on crutches. We won't see him for a while.

Louis was wearing a knee brace on Saturday. Saw him at the Gander Green Lane entrance with Osbourne at the start of the second half. We really have had dreadful luck with injuries this season

The gloom descends quickly doesn't it?
There are players who are either not good enough or they are not putting in the required effort to fulfil their potential. However, it is worth bearing in mind players like Clough have also been off their games so it could be a case that these players brought in are good enough but there is something not quite right, causing them to not be showing their true worth.
We don't get on Cloughies back as much as we know what he is capable of having seen it last season. However it is easy to get on new players backs as we are not fully aware what they are capable of and so just assume they are not good enough.
Maybe there is a fear factor; maybe someone is unsettling the changing room. I have no idea but I trust in Dos to turn it around.
Luckily this league looks beyond average this season and no one will run away with it so we have time to turn it around before we get cut adrift of the playoff spots.

Mark F : Stewart is correct. When I said "at the top" I was referring to Dos. My post was a little rushed as I was working but just wanted to bring a very interesting interview to peoples attention and perhaps it has been misunderstood by some.
For the record, even if this season does not hit the heights we were all hoping for, I still have every faith in Dos. I am sure he will turn things around.

Dos has been immense for the club but there's something seriously wrong currently! Let me ask you who's had a good start to the season player wise? You can count them on 2 fingers! In any particular game have we played well for the whole 90? And how many of you know our strongest xi?? Because I don't think dos even does

And how many of you know our strongest xi?? Because I don't think dos even does Certainly not me I'm afraid - and won't know for a while if the wholesale changes are made this week and next. Like the general consensus on here I never want Dos to leave us - he's 100% the man for us and he will sort us out again. Looking forward to seeing what changes are made.

Shaun Cooper, who we're apparently looking to bring in, appears to have missed a lot of football recently due to injury.
