Glad to be through, but to be honest it was a poor display from both sides. 1st half neither team got going i thought, very few real chances. 2nd half, great goal by Jason Henry, but then i felt we sat back slightly and allowed Dover to get back in. Thought Wilson made some really good stops last night, and Tanner again with the last ditch defending was immense. And how much injury-time did the ref want to add on at the end? If the 2nd half started at say, 8:47-ish, then there was about 10 minutes of injury-time. But still we're through to the next round, 1st home win of the season, 1st clean sheet since St Albans, and with a big game Saturday. The Ernie revolution has begun!

I didn't check my watch at the start of the second half, but the first half finished very late, due to the ref playing quite a few minutes of (justifiable) additional time for injuries. So if half time was the usual 15 minutes, I would say the late finish was correct.

I use a stop watch to get timings for goals, substitutions etc for our match reports. The referee DID add a lot of time in both halves (about 8-9 minutes second half) but I thought he was just about spot-on.

I think the referee added on just about the right amount of extra time, given the amount of time wasted at the end of the second half for throw-ins, goal-kicks and (ahem) "injuries". All teams do it (a bit of time-wasting) so don't blame the ref when he responds appropriately!

How can anyone moan about the time added on? He got that right as did the fella at Hayes, when we scored in the 7th min of injury time!

I imagine the moans merely came from the agony of waiting and waiting for the game to end when it was well past the time you naturally expect the game to end.
I know i was panicking somewhat at the Bill Bailey gig i was at, wondering if we'd gone to extra time because the full time score texts hadn't came when i expected them.
