Of minor importance, I know, but AFC Wimbledon lost 4-3 on penalties to Whyteleafe yesterday (0-0 aet). Perhaps they weren't trying.......?

Shame really when you consider how many of their fans want to draw us in the cup that in the one competition where they've got a good chance of playing us, they lose.
No doubt it was the "reserve" side.

Well only 2 people involved against Whyteleafe were in the Dons side on the previous Saturday and they I believe were on the bench,so yes it was basicly a reserve side and there was a rumour going round they were all available for transfer. From what I have been told although the Dons reserve are top of the surburban league at the moment they are not a good side, and I say that because they play there games at Croydon Athletic and someone at our club watches them regulary, mind you there is one player in the side that played the other night against Whyteleafe, but I am not saying who.

TBH, I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised AFC played a weak side, mainly as they've got bigger fish to fry. Plus there was a lot of talk about them not bothering this year after Surrey FA chucked 'em out as part of the Darlington international clearance palaver last season.

There's a f*cking surprise, upset with the Surrey FA because they screwed up. Thou shalt never cross the righteous and up your own arse ways of AFC Wimbledon.
They could try growing up and actually realising they are just a Ryman Premier football club and nothing special and deserving of nothing more than anybody else.
