A couple of people may be able to answer this and provide some stats (particularly Frakey) but have we ever had a similar season where there's been so many different goalscorers? I make it 20 already this season..and that's not counting friendlies

There's also a very real possibility that no Sutton goalscorers will reach double figures this season. Even in our grisly 2007/08 campaign Dundo managed it. Fitch is currently on 5 from 7 games, which, to be fair, is pretty good going. Ten goals by the end of the season is an achievable target for him.

Without looking at all the seasons back to 21/22, I can say that U's have had more than 20 scorers (in all comps not inc friendlies) in the 91/2 and 98/9 seasons - 21 scorers in each.
As for any player failing to reach double figures in competitive football, the last time that happened at SUFC was in the 1953/4 season. That was in a 26 match season plus 13 cup ties. We finished 8th out of 14.

It's good for a team to share the goals around rather than being over-dependent on one or two scorers. But we have lacked a consistent finisher this season. Yesterday's NLP listed the leading Conference South scorers for 14/15, going all the way down to no.34. And, you've guessed it, there's not a single SUFC player in there. A number of clubs had three representatives, and Havant managed four.
