I still can't get my head round the carpet! It's probably the only thing the clubs ever done that I just don't agree with. Just quite a big thing! Definitely see it as a shame if all clubs go down this route

A few people have said that. I'm not quite sure I understand why, though, since nobody has seen the team play on it yet. Is it just because it's a big change from what we've always been used to? People do tend to shy away from change when they feel something is right because we've always done it that way. Human nature, but as I say, why not give it a chance.

Having watched a few games now I'm sure that the vast majority will change their minds within ten or fifteen minutes of the first game, certainly within a couple of matches

I've only watched 1 match on 3G ... Orlando city v LA galaxy in May this year and I honesty couldnt tell the difference between 3G or a grass pitch , so have no problem with our new surface .. We all know this is a massive change at one of the most famous 'proper' non league grounds in the country.... But I'm excited, the club are excited & confident this is a great way to move 'our' club forward in every way.. I'm sure its going to be .. Fantastic .. Come on you u's

Certainly a better view not, well done for a clear sighted management desist on. Comments please Silver Fox (: I agree with "not", so no surprise there! The updated photo is the same as my view of the pitch, through the home dugout, as a volunteer steward in the tunnel area. Add all the bodies sitting and standing alongside during the game and you can see that it is a formidable barrier! This is, or was, a last chance to relocate them back from the pitch. The 'technical area' would now appear to be on a down slope, not the most comfortable of positions to stand, although we will have to see where the sideline is located.
