Right... while I finish the Stortford and Hampton programme I might as well ask.
Does anyone want to award the man of the match bubbly for either of those two games?
It costs a tenner... please let me know if you fancy it.

Because he would have to scarify himself or read several chapters of Ezekiel if he were to give any sort of credit to a player from the righteous side of the borough. Mmmm, sounds good, eh Jar - ed.

and lots of people cannot work out how on earth you didn't give MOtM to Dundas! Don't i just know it! I gave it to Hughes because i thought he played really well, creating alot of chances for the team today. That's the joy of individual opinion!

Hughes had his best game for the club today with some excellent control and crossing so i can see why Jared gave it to him and as Gareth said, he paid his money and he took his choice and Hughes did have a good game. But yeah, still, cold light of day, Dundas all the way for me

Dundas for me, but Jared came forward to and made a decision, fair play to him....
...even if it was wrong....
...not saying Mr Hughes played badly.

Dundas for me by a country-mile. Playing as a lone striker he showed skill, a good footballing brain & shed loads of determination. Rob Hughes had his best game for U's and his first half corner delivery was excellent, although he wasn't able to reproduce that in the second.
I thought Craig's performance was one of the best I've seen from a U's player for a long time - he just needed another forward up with him for U's to profit.
As someone pointed out earlier, Jared paid his tenner & has his opinion - it doesn't mean to say he was right though!

Craig gave a great performance as a bustling centre forward. But he didn't do what centre forwards are expected to do i.e. get the ball in the net! Had he done so, I think Jared might have given him MOTM.

Oh right, so the only way a forward is going to get any credit is if he scores? As I stated, he was playing as a lone striker & that means he will be well marked, so it puts the onus on the midfield to get up & play off him as he sets up the play as the only target man.
A c-f is also reliant on getting service from the midfield. Yesterday, most times Craig was able to get anything at goal was down to his own ability & determination.
