The attendance was 3,030. On my blog I predicted an attendance of 3,030. The stadium was 33 under full capacity.

Well done...the only thing you got wrong was the number of goals Maidstone didn't score

Apologies for not reading the blog but more importantly. I had a bet with a mate that the attendance would exceed 3000. I am now a tenner richer. Ten pounds and a performance like that makes me a very happy lad

Isn't 3,030 the capacity? Which begs the question was anyone locked out or did the exact capacity happen to turn up . . . .
Anyway superb to see the town turn up for them. We can only dream of Sutton supporting us like that! Guess it helps being further out. And how good to see such a lovely reaction from their support. Fair play to them.

I got in 15mins before kick off after a 20min queue which was back to the roundabout when I joined it. When I went through the turnstiles it was still at least make to the car park gates.

There were plenty of seats left in the stand so they could have got more in

most of the stand is sold as season ticket and the pay on the day seats were sold out. The season tickets in the stand are counted whether there or not (as is the case with our attendances I think). At least that is what one of their stewards told me.

A huge cock up by Maidstone not making the game all ticket. I think they got away with it by the skin of their teeth.
We will never know the real attendance

What I'd do to get a 3000+ crowd at a home league game.
Who knows how close we'll get on the 16th...

2,000 should probably happen if the results in the interim hold up.

It's worth noting however that Maidstone as a town has a population of over 113,000. That's a decent number to build on!
