Just to update everyone tomorrow nights away match against Chessington & Hook has been reversed to GGL.
A win tomorrow night would see us safe in the CCL Premier for this season with Chessington desperate for 3 points as they are currently 2nd from bottom.
Technically we will be the away team and Chessington will be running the gate so SCR Season tickets & SU Season ticket discounts won't be valid.
I am just waiting on Chessington to confirm admission prices which I will put on here.
All support is very welcome and appreciated.
Thank you,
Justin Salmon Sutton Common Rovers FC

Justin, is it three teams to go down from the Premier Division? (subject of course to three teams from below achieving the appropriate ground grading).

Yes that's correct.
So at the moment the bottom 3 teams are....
20 - Redhill 21 - Chessington & Hook 22 - Cove
At the moment all the teams sitting in the top four positions meet the ground grading for promotion to the premier....
1 - Abbey Rangers 2 - CB Hounslow United 3 - Bedfont & Feltham 4 - Eversley
So it looks like any 3 from those 4 will go up.

Also forgot to say Walton & Hersham have been relegated from the Rymans South so they will be joining the CCL Premier next season and if Farnborough FC in the Rymans Premier finish in the bottom 4 (they are currently 4th from bottom) they will be relegated down2 divisions (due to financial issues) into the CCL Premier too.

Thanks for the info, Justin.
A win tomorrow won't quite guarantee safety unless Redhill fail to beat Westfield the same evening. It's really just a matter of when though.

Yeah sorry your right a win tomorrow would mean Redhill could equal us on points by winning all their remaining games with us not picking up anything more from ours.
So technically we would be very close to safe.

Sorry for the delay but after several messages to Chessington & Hook FC they have finally come back with tonight's admission prices....
Adults £5.00 Concessions £3.00 U16s Free
Please remember that even though the game is at GGL tonight it's Chessington's gate so SCR season tickets and discounted entry for SU season tickets are not valid.
Thank you,
Justin

Disappointing 2-2 draw against Chessington as we conceded the equalizer in the 91st minute.
Thankfully Redhill also drew 2-2 so Chessington & Redhill would need to win every remaining game to catch us with us getting nothing from our last 3 games.
Also Farnborough look like they have completed the great relegation escape (from a bottom 4 finish) with a 90th minute 3-2 winner against Kingstonian.

Update.....
As of tonight we can now finally relax and enjoy with no pressure our remaining 3 games as we are safe from relegation and can look forward to playing in the Combined Counties Premier Division again next season.
Redhill lost tonight so are relegated with cove (that's 2 back to back relegations for Redhill). Chessington drew so can technically still catch Badshot Lea on goal difference if they win all remaining games and Badshot don't pick up any more points.
I just want to thank everyone who has made the effort to come and support us this season and hope that some of you will be free to come to our final league game which is at home against promotion chasing Camberley Town on Saturday 30th April (Camberley Town are the highest placed league team that has passed their ground grading, that can be promoted to the Rymans South).
Thank you again and good luck to our friends and landlords Sutton United as they look to bring home the league title.

Thanks for that. So will the bottom 3 really go down or will there be an AGM reprieve for any?

Well you never know but the top 3 from division 1 are all ground passed to move up.
so I think it will be 3 down 3 up then Camberley Town getting promoted from the CCL Premier and Walton & Hersham dropping down from the Ryman South to replace them.

And taking into account the fine F.A. Vase run, it has to be regarded as a very satisfactory season. Well done.

And taking into account the fine F.A. Vase run, it has to be regarded as a very satisfactory season. Well done. We are all very pleased with our 1st season returning home to Sutton. Ideally we will be looking to build on this season with a top half finish next season then a promotion push the season after. We all feel that is a very realistic goal and with more and more support from local Sutton people they can help us make it happen.
