Honestly never believed we'd be able to keep ANY manager this long when Dos started eight years ago and to have the one we do, well, what more can you ask for?

Anyone who knows Dos will already know how he feels about this football club. It is like a big family, squabbles as well. A very special club on the cusp of another great achievement to add to those which have gone before. I can imagine Dos, Micky, Wayne and Baidy on the terraces, it would add a bit of muscle

Dos is a legend and a very nice man too. Can't wait for tomorrow. We have a great club with amazing volunteers. The work that Adrian does is absolutely brilliant but of course it's not just him. There are so many behind the scenes that make the club tick and are the envy of the majority of non league clubs. We even play decent football. A point missed by Ebbsfleet fans. They obviously don't realise that we're the top scorers in the league by just the 11 goals and we've conceded the least. It's going to be a fabulous day and evening tomorrow. I just hope the club is packed as it should be. I just wish I had a little bet last November as I said then that we could win the league although I did think we might lose one or two games. Right I think I need to have a gander onto Ebbsfleet's forum

I've been part of this club - because we as fans always are, here - for over 20 years. I have always been very proud of what this club is, what it has achieved and how it is run. I've never been prouder than I am right now and I've never been so grateful. Thanks Dos, Bruce and EVERYONE else

Totally agree with all that has been said but let's give thanks to the people who went before and gave such a great foundation for Dos, Bruce and all to build on. I'm sure that is what attracted Dos in the first place. This season we have a superb team but we've always had the best club.

My best mate is a certain Mr Frake and I grew up watching Sutton as well as my first love, Fulham. Had great days iincluding going to Chieti by train in 79, Trophy in 81, successive league titles in the 80's , Coventry etc. Moved to the South Coast 25 years ago and have kept my Fulham season ticket going but haven't seen the U's so much in recent years but through Mark have always kept up to speed. Went to Whitehawk and Bognor this season so was in two minds whether to go last Saturday as didn't want to jinx it- but so glad I did.
Such a great atmosphere and every time I go back it feels like coming home. To be fair my mum and my sister are five minute walks either side of the ground but I think you'll get what I mean.
Although I love Fulham you don't get the same intimacy and sense of belonging as non league football gives you. Dos's words on this thread and his unbridled commitment over the last 8 years epitomise all that is good in the game.
Sutton are privileged to have such a man at the helm. I'll be at Fulham tomorrow but a huge part of my heart will be at GGL. Enjoy the day one and all
