I think we will do well .. Play the same style of football as last season, use both wings, as we do & a top 10 finish isn't beyond us... 1 thing we can't do is give other teams ' too much respect' .. Let them worry about us too!!⚽️⚽️⚽️

Think you are both making the same mistake England supporters make when we win a game or two before a major tournament I think that's totally different. How have the promoted teams from the National got on in League 2 in recent years? And how have Dover, Bromley, Eastleigh and Braintree done? Not bad methinks. Eastmond, Bailey and Gomis are absolutely quality in midfield and we haven't really seen Burge yet I believe with a couple more additions we have a chance of achieving our best ever position in the Conference.

Am I right in saying Burge hasn't been confirmed as signing for next season?

Nope - Dos said he's signed for next season a couple of weeks after he initially signed for us in the spring.

Can we compete with the massive cash injections that Bromley, Dover and Eastleigh got? What about Boringwood and Welling?

Regarding the Woking game - our first game back and we did win the Ryman league at a canter in comparison, and we were put firmly into place by the side that ended up winning the league. Losing 5-0 that day wasn't a pleasant thing to watch but in hindsight it was probably a good lesson to learn - aside from 10 minutes of madness at Bromley, we went undefeated in the league until November and we got rid of Tom Davis and replaced him with Harry Beautyman.
And in answer to the can we compete with the massive cash injections? I say 1 word. Leicester. And let's face it, we competed and beat a side with a significantly bigger budget than us this season. It's about getting the right quality and the right manager and getting them playing as a team rather than individuals. When we do we achieve great things. Occasionally we get it wrong (Season 14/15) but look at a player like Wish - unspectacular in that side, but get players around him that compliment him and he gets picked for England. Money helps, but it's not the whole story.

Quite right Andy.
Yes a lot of National clubs are full time but look at little Braintree.
We have some real quality in our team that was lacking in the past. Might be one of the reasons we went 26 games unbeaten and won all our games in April. There's a determination in this team to get the job done. It's going to be an enjoyable ride next year. Won't be easy but we will have a lot of fun and perhaps a little despair but I hope not.
April. There's a determination in this team

We will be starting with our best players from last season. Other clubs are not so lucky. Woking and Solihull have both lost star player recently.

I'm looking forward to us playing against Charlie Clough. The guy who left us to further his career.

Corals seem to think we're going to struggle next season. They're quoting us at 50-1, with only Guiseley and North Ferriby having longer odds. Despite the fact that we finished miles ahead of Maidstone, they're joint 13th at 33-1.....work that one out.

Just to elaborate a little more, Corals are the only firm who have priced up the National League at the moment, they have Forest Green at 5/1, Eastleigh at 6/1. Tranmere at 13/2 and Wrexham at 7/1 Oddschecker ( where you can see what all betting firms are pricing things up as ) can be found at : - www.oddschecker.com/football/english/non-league/national-league/winner
