The area around Dulwich H's ground is not great for pubs, but one place that is worth checking out is Hooper's Bar in Ivanhoe Road. It's not much more than five minutes' walk from Champion Hill, and has two or three real ales on plus an interesting selection of bottled beers (including some described as 'amber'). Hooper's normally opens at 2 pm on a Saturday, but I've been in touch with the owner and he's going to open at 1 this Saturday in the expectation that a few Sutton supporters will call in for some pre-match refreshment. (I have warned him that if we get a load more rain before Saturday afternoon then the match will be in doubt.) For more information, there's a link below to Hooper's website. Click on 'contact' to find a map. www.hoopersbar.co.uk

Great stuff, i'll be there at one so there'll be a least a couple of pints sunk before we see if the extended post match team talk after Bath had the desired effect

Can't help you there I'm afraid - but it may be worth giving Hooper's a ring. (The number's on the website.) One other little incentive: I understand that as a January promotion Hooper's are selling one real ale (something fairly interesting!) at £1.99 a pint.

AA is right; it's a great bar and if you enjoy a pint of the real stuff it's the only destination within walking distance of Champion Hill. Hopefully you'll be in need of a few pints of top notch ale to offset the chagrin of another stuffing ;D
