What was the score?
Or was everyone watching the semi-final?
What was the attendance?

Did not stay for E/T all I can say is was the most awful game of football I have seen for a long while, it could be a very long night.

I don't know what you're talking about OS, great game. Two goals for Harry O and a Rob Hughes peno, dunno why Dundas didn't take it but hey ho.
Woking winning 2-1 means they beat us in the next round at Kingfield at the end of Feb!!!

Dire game. One of the worst I've seen in ages!
Only bright spots were their no2's brilliantly mental reaction to his second yellow in 2nd half of ET (funniest red card at GGL since the 10 second captaincy from the Thurrock game a couple of years back) and Harry sticking away two.
As Miller said deep into the second half..........
"You know that part on the website? Why we bother?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I'm not sure I know why....."
Still, we're brilliant in the SSC. 2 games, 8 scored, none conceeded! ;D

Echo Mr Tazbert there. Around the same time I was thinking why we bother, and what I could have spent my tenner on tonight.
How we didn't get going until extra time I will never know. They actually had a quite a well marshalled defence for their level. Good to see a couple of SU Alumni playing for the Baconers (Corbett and Brown).
After the comical sending off (Don't actually know why their no.2 tried to fight with his own players!) there was no way back for them, a great couple of goals for Harry, which will do wonders for his confidence, and Hughes getting his first for us from the spot.
Well its been a while since we've been to Kingfield in a competitive match, and the two biggest sides left in the cup play each other.
And for the anoraks...semi final is Sutton or Woking V Guildford City/Molesey/Whyteleafe

Scott Corbett could still do a job for us at centre back I reckon, alongside Scooby. Could also provide leadership and experience for the likes of Tom etc. Come back Scott?

How we didn't get going until extra time I will never know./quote] Did we get going? We got a soft penalty, then got two late goals when the Met were down to 10 men on a very heavy pitch after nearly two hours of football, during which they'd never looked like a side 2 divisions below us. I know I'm a pessimist, but anyone who can draw positives from that display is certainly an optimist!

Every time I've seen us in the SSC (which is strangely quite often) it's been a bad game. Am I jinxed?
