Was a good game. Against a team a couple of steps above. Lost 2-4 but could have been different if pens had been given and bar a bit higher!

So a win on Sunday 6th May away to the Balham Panthers will clinch the title for our Ladies, and guarantee them a place in the 7th tier of Women's football next season. That would be a fantastic achievement! Such a shame it looks like that will clash with a certain playoff game, otherwise I'd be there.

I really enjoyed watching Manchester City take on the Lyon Feminines earlier today in the quarter finals of the women's Champions League. Apparently this is the first time the BBC has televised the semi-final stage of the competition. A significant development in increasing the sport's profile.
