".....if you look at the history MK teams only ever last a few years anyway."
And I'm sincerely hoping that trend continues!

Oooh no, wouldn't want to stagger there from my flat. That's uphill. Although the Plough is there for refreshments if required, which is useful.
I'd much rather stagger back to my place from there though. Mostly downhill so much quicker. Good stuff sometimes that gravity......

I forgot about Wokingham too.
Never went to the Telecoms ground but of course i have staggered past it many occasion. The Harrow is closer of course but that has gone down hill (if that was possible). Was in the Plough the other day. Nice pub and great curry houses down there. Look no further that the Asif!

Ref'd on the Telecoms ground a few years back. Nice bar. Is it used for cricket now?
I wasn't aware that Cray's ground was still in use. Bloody Tory voters!

Yeah, Telecoms ground was converted for use by a womens cricket club after a number of years left going to rack & ruin. Shame, they were decent pitches.

Not quite in the category, but I remember us playing Casuals in the Isthmian league days at the Oval in front of the Vauxhall Stand (subsequently renames Warner Stand) with spectators confined to one side only (the stand). A feature of one game we played there was a linesman dropping dead whilst running the line on the wicket side of the pitch (morbid memories).

I'm going to cheat a bit and say 'Nunhead FC'. I have just driven past the site of their old ground in Ivydale Road on the way to my Uncle's Funeral - He went there a lot so that's got to count, hasn't it?

out of interest where on West street was the E&E ground? It ran along the "village" side of Gibralter Rec - I think they built flats on it in the mid-90s

Johnboy, the incident with the linesman at The Oval was featured in my article last Sat. It took place in 1957! You've been watching U's a long time if you were at that match! And not so much of the "boy" anymore! Young at heart though, I suspect.
