For some reason there was no away travel information in the last programme, so people might like to know that there are engineering works on the line on Saturday (surprise, surprise). It's not too bad - journey times are extended to around 3 hours and trains will arrive in, and depart from, Dorchester South at the usual times, which means they will leave London earlier and arrive back later. The better news is that all trains will stop at Clapham Junction. Trains to Clapham Junction from Sutton are running normally.
Outward trains depart Clapham Junction at xx05 and xx35 mins past each hour. The last reasonable arrival departs at 11.05, arriving at 14.04.
Return trains depart Dorchester South at xx13 and xx32 mins past each hour. The 17.13 will get you back to Clapham Junction at 20.02.
For some reason the National Rail website currently insists there are no day returns from Sutton to Dorchester South, but there are. It's £40-80, or £26-95 if you have a suitable railcard.

Seriously... if one more person has a go about the programme, I'll quit. (Stop cheering Millsy).

While you're on about it Lyall, the heading for my article was wrong. The previous Tuesday's edition was used. And as I don't offer a header when I send them to yuo, you can't blame me either!!
I may have another gripe too but I'll have to check the article first. Stay tuned!

In all honesty, I think the U's programme is very good!!!! I asked one of the U's fans (you know the one who goes with his dad with the pony tail) what he thought of my programme for Colliers Wood United. He said " well its got a staple"!!! (Cheeky bugger)!!

Seriously... if one more person has a go about the programme, I'll quit. (Stop cheering Millsy). As you have put "seriously" on your post, rather than a , I will take it you mean it, Ed. Please don't take my post as "having a go" - I just thought it may be helpful to post train info, as there are changes to times this Saturday and I know a lot of our fans go by train because they like an, ahem, odd half pint af ale during the day.

I did write the article - remember writing the "we're in amber and choc" bit... Sometimes I'm semi-serious - but no one would want the job.

The trains tomorrow are diverted via Chertsey, which is why they are extended. This means at Clapham Jn they will be departing from number 5/6 (island) platform rather than the usual plat 9. The programme is one of the very best in the league, and is edited and put together by someone who gives up a great deal of his time to produce it, and the same as the vast majority of people who give up their valuable time for Us is not paid. I must say that I am one of the Editors harshest critics, by usually with my tongue firmly in my cheek. As some who post on here may or may not know, he also produces a team sheet / programme for the youth and reserve teams, also helping out if required at these games. Talking as one who knows, neither of these tasks are easy and are also very time consuming!! By the way, which kit are we wearing??

I imagine it'll be amber and choc, as Dorchester wear black and white.

Not that anyone cares now, but when starting the Bognor programme, I've noticed that the page 37 I did and sent to the printers had the travel to Dorchester on...
