A game I've been looking forward to since the draw was made as we face old adversaries Hendon. To me this tie has a similar feel to it as the Bognor one a couple of seasons back (who went on to defeat us in a replay albeit a round later). I'm presuming Dos will select as full-strength side as possible on Saturday..
Who's going to this one then?

I had been hoping to see Tom Lovelock in goal for The Greens, but, as Mickey Stephens advised on Monday, he sustained a leg injury against Wingate and Finchley on the 1st January which required 18 stitches, so it seems 'unlikely' he'll feature , hopefully though, he'll come along to The Lane to say 'hi' to us

We'll have to keep an eye on their prolific striker Niko Muir who scored his 30th goal of the season (some going that!) during Tuesdays defeat to Corinthian Casuals.
Also ex-U Kezie Ibe has departed Hendon since the draw was made,

I of course will be there, feels like a old classic Ryman game but will bring back many memories for lots of our supporters, will be a very tough game, maybe around 1,000 in attendance, Hendon should bring around 100/200 seeing as it is a local and big game.

How would you know about this 🤔 Early 2013 and because I’ve seen old match reports of Sutton vs Hendon and seen some previous highlights of when we were both in the Ryman... and I said it will bring back memories for some of our fans and I wasn’t including myself in that because I’ve never seen us play Hendon if that makes sense but then again, most of the stuff I say doesn’t make sense 😂

Looking forward to seeing Harry make his home return. With luck he will take charge of corners and some free kicks. This seasons on-pitch performances have been an improvement on last season in all departments except that one. Our downhill corners are over-hit, uphill corners often underhit: all have been in-swingers yet half the Sutton attackers find the ball is played behind them. Even Noah knew it was better to be outside the arc running in, than the reverse.

I thought the pitch was level to within 1%. Not sure which way is uphill or downhill. 😜

Unlikely to be back in action for a month or so. Referee on New Years Day said it the gash to Tom's leg was one of the worst he'd ever seen and made him feel physically sick. Tom's the best regular keeper we've had at the club since another former Sutton keeper - Gary McCann - who is now our manager. Looking forward to visiting GGL again on Saturday.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s match, Hendon will be a tough opponent and at least we won’t have any of the 3G gives Sutton an advantage rubbish as Hendon also have an artificial surface. Hope that dos puts out a strong side as if we can get through this round, maybe we can start dreaming of Wembley!

Hendon have signed 20 year old goalkeeper Corey Addai on a months loan from Coventry City ahead of Saturday's FA Trophy tie at Sutton United. Corey is the son of former Sutton keeper Kenny. LINK
