Just had to think again at the fact that there were over 2600 at the game and we are equals (and seen as such) to sides with a long history of league football, the 3rd oldest side in the world and a side that regularly played in European club competitions. And with a stronger first half we would have got all the points too.
Utterly bonkers when you take it that way but sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe how far we have come in a few short seasons...

My mate who’s a Palace season ticket holder came down with his boy for the first time on Sat and absolutely loved it. He’s coming again on saturday and there’s every chance he’ll be buying season tickets for next season.
As for the ref I generally thought he had an excellent game especially as Mark pointed out the fouls on Tom and then speaking to Pearson. He was a little inconsistent with his cards though booking JC for kicking the ball away but not Kieron and one of their players that did exactly the same thing earlier in the game.
Walton was my MOM but Downer and Thomas also had fine games

As for JC's booking, I was sat in the stand right behind their dugout, and when Keiron kicked it over into the rec their bench were all up making a noise about it, and were told to calm down by the 4th official, and so when JC did the same (right in front of the dugouts this time) I think a card was inevitable, even if a bit harsh.

Summed up perfectly, I would take 14 points from our next 7 games as a minimum! If we have serious ambitions of lifting the title we will have to target more than 14 points I'd imagine - the famous cliche of taking one game at a time is normally brought out at this stage of the season. I don't disagree with you but I also note that no team in the national league is averaging 2 points per game at present. Sutton are averaging 1.73 and leaders Macc are averaging 1.88. 2 points per game from here on (from the remaining 13) would see us finish on 83. Surely not enough but its so tight this year that until someone from the top 5 or 6 goes on a winning run, anything is possible...

The one game at a time cliche is bang-on for our current situation.
Torquay will be a tough game but if we could take three points from the game then we would build momentum and we'd move onto our next home game with increasing confidence levels. However securing those points will be a real test for us and nothing should be taken for granted. We will need to be at our best.
