This Saturday SCR welcome AFC Hayes to Gander Green Lane in a combined counties league match 3pm kick off.
With the weather forecast as it is currently Sutton United’s 3G pitch is probably the best chance of beating the weather Saturday and getting this game on.
We have had some mixed results of late and currently sit 3rd in the table but we are still well in the promotion race and a win would see us go 1 point behind second place Bedfont Sports.
Admission Prices....
£2 = Sutton United 17/18 Season Ticket Holders (please present your pass at the turnstile).
Adults = £7 Concessions = £4 Under 16’s = £2
SCR 17/18 season ticket holders = Free
All support is very welcome and appreciated.

Think you’re wrong there, Cray Wanderers who play at Bromley are home and they have a 3G pitch so....

Think you’re wrong there, Cray Wanderers who play at Bromley are home and they have a 3G pitch so.... I suppose it depends where you live in relation to Sutton United’s ground but if you live near Bromley (then of course that would be your local game). Fingers crossed that all games on 3G pitches go ahead adding more weight to the argument of letting 3G pitches be used at all levels of football.

Also I have been informed that we have a kids go free offer for this Saturday’s match to make it even more affordable to see the match (if you are local enough to make it to the ground).
You can either email scrsales@outlook.com for a kids go free flyer (that you can bring to the match and hand in at the turnstile) or fill in a form at the turnstile before the match for free children entry.
With the Sutton United 17/18 season ticket discounted £2 entry offer this will be hard to beat for value for money grassroots football this weekend.

Well, if you're going to define local as a 5 mile radius or less then you won't find many senior football matches on any day regardless of weather conditions

I said not many, not none, and they play on 3G anyway so not likely to have home games called off!

Home games at Merstham and Leatherhead are currently still on. Both of which are more local than Cray.

Even Barrow have called their match off. They pretty much have their games called off every week...
