Let's hope GGL passes the 10:30am . Local ground for Local People! Will be my SCR debut. Sutton United season ticket holders for 2 quid is a deal. Money saved can go on a burger at Jenny's and a couple of pints in the bar. Hope to see you down at GGL.

Home games at Merstham and Leatherhead are currently still on. Both of which are more local than Cray. Both those games are off now. Fingers crossed we pass the inspection as hardly any games on at all.

Update.... The inspection has been passed and the game is on.
Thank you to all the staff at Sutton United and the volenteers from Sutton Common Rovers for some fantastic work this morning in getting this game on.

League One and League Two chairmen please note: On a day when 18 out of 23 of your fixtures have fallen victim to the weather, many non-league games on 3G survived, e.g. SCR v AFC Hayes, Worthing v Billericay and Grays v Bury (at Aveley). Lots of others too at an even lower level, like Steyning v Midhurst & Easebourne. Even Deportivo Galicia v Cobham from Combined Counties Division One went ahead!

Playing devils advocate slightly, and using Sutton as an example, I see on the SCR match thread their attendance was 130, and that the attendance for our SSC match with Merstham last Tuesday was similar ........ so is it a definite that a home NL game for SUFC yesterday, and a crowd of circa 2k, or even more, a League 2 match with an even bigger crowd, would definitely have been able to be played yesterday or last Tuesday night (when all the terracing was closed for safety reasons)? A number of yesterday's postponements were due to crowd safety issues in addition to the pitches. I'm a big believer that the 3g surface should be permitted at all levels, but also think the right arguments need to be used when making the case
