As many of you will have heard, 'Beast from the East' II is expected to hit Britain this coming weekend. It's not expected to be as vicious as last time, and at the moment I don't think our game at Maidstone is in serious doubt, but the current forecast is for snow (heavy for a while) to start falling mid-afternoon and continue into the evening. So some of us should be prepared for a tricky journey home.😮

As expected, weather forecasts change and the prediction now is for snow on the Sunday rather than the Saturday with a yellow warning in place for Sunday for snow (and that covers Sutton as well). I expect it will change again as we get closer, but one thing that is staying constant is how cold it will be, with wind chill in the -5/-6 region, so wrap up warm!
If it does snow heavily on the Saturday, the further east you go, the worse it's looking likely to be. There's only one game further east than us...Dover v Macclesfield. I don't think many of us will be too heartbroken if that game gets called off and Macc have to do a long trek midweek in an already congested April for them...

Shame we are all segregated now, so no indoor drinks at the Gallagher for visitors, although there is a Shepherd Neame bar under your section of terracing with TV screens. Only a lunatic would turn up at 12.30 for happy hour!
