Any issues with the pitch? None at all, the pitch is unaffected by the light snow.

Good. Family commitments mean I can’t make Maidstone - a too frequent occurrence when you have 7 step children and 12 grandchildren!

Well if you do make it to our game today it will be really appreciated. Also bring some of the children along too as it’s Free entry for under 16’s making it a really inexpensive local match to attend.

This has been coming for a while - maybe not 11 but more goals. One disallowed as well. Jeff Stelling referred to the result at the end of Sky Soccer Saturday (or whatever it’s called).

Blessed is the person who having nothing to say abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.

It wasn’t my original intention, but I ended up watching this very one-sided affair. There were several cracking finishes from SCR, but, my word, Farnham were woeful at the back!
Nice boost to the goal difference, which might be important come the end of the campaign.
The only negative for me from the whole afternoon was the foul-mouthed barrage towards the end of the first-half from, I believe, the SCR manager, Darren Salmon. What it was about and to who, I know not, because I was a bit too far away.
Anyway, well done to the players on a remarkable display.

Well if you come down to their games regularly like i do you will know its normal for the manager to have an out bust and it doesnt matter who its at

Yeah, I know, Adam. It’s not the first time I’ve seen him blow a gasket. It makes me grateful Dos conducts himself with such a lot of class.

Darren does get a bit, shall we say, “animated” but I think this is exaggerated by the relative quiet in the ground caused by small crowds.
I’ve spoken to him away from the touch line and he’s a nice bloke who thanks supporters for attending away matches.
I don’t know what “hashtag in Darren we trust” might mean but I’ve said it anyway!
