Does anyone if there will be a pre match lunch before the Bromley game? I’ve emailed the club but yet to get a reply. I have a number of people interested in this but they need notice so they can reorganise work etc.
Can someone let me know ASAP please?

I've no had an email and texts to say that there will be a pre match lunch for the Bromley game. Details to be announced after tomorrow's game.

I feel slightly awkward asking this but here goes...
As the small bar gets really crowded, now, many of us occupy the large bar for food and drinks and chat, pre-match. Obviously the pre match lunches are an important thing (and I'm not forgetting that peope are paying for the entertainment). However, there can be a slight conflict of interests once someone gets onto the mic. Once they're speaking through the mic that pretty much ends conversation in the rest of that bar area, as you can't easily talk above the volume. I certainly understand that the mic has to be used, announcements made, winners announced, etc. But it does sometimes go on a bit into amplified chatting. Which the rest of us can only sit through.
I can see it would be difficult to do much to alter this, but I thought it at least worth mentioning.

Perhaps the volume could be turned down slightly? It only needs to cover half the room after all.
