Although Tom's commentary refers to an "impeccably observed one minute's silence", I was standing in the recreational terrace, and the two stewards in front of us seemed to think their conversation was more important than observing the one minute's silence. They eventually shut up after being shushed by another supporter, but exceedingly poor form on their part. I've never witnessed such a spectacle at a football match before, and I hope that I never do again.

I think they were oblivious rather than intentionally rude. Another reflection on how far we have come as a club that we now have people in the ground that aren't there for the football. It wasn't their most professional moment for sure especially as there must have been a pre-match briefing, as well as PA announcements, informing of the minute's silence. It's rare for the stewards to need to do anything (thankfully) but ensuring such occasions are respected by the fans should be one of them so disappointing they couldn't undertake it themselves.

Even my 2 children (ages 7 months and 2 years) managed not to make a noise during that minute, so I'm disappointed a couple of capable, responsible adults couldn't do it.

Wasn’t the only one, a couple of us lot also told them to be quiet, thought it was very disrespectful!
