Yes I remember him playing for Sutton late 50's early 60's... he took over from Wally Pearson and Ralph Carr before anyone asks yes I am that old!!!!! I can truly say that I have being through the ups & downs of this great club of ours.

Ra Watkins actually played 150 games for Sutton (58/9-62/3). He lost his place to Dave Roffey early in the 62/3 season and played in the reserves until joining Carshalton for the 63/4 season. He represented the Athenian League during the 60/1 season.

The game is segregated and fans have to enter via the Swanscombe Entrance

Another Fleet fan in peace. Just a quick but important warning. Anyone driving to the Kuflink stadium are warned - DO NOT park on either side of the road opposite the main entrance to the ground , including under the railway bridge. It is a discreetly marked clearway, cars frequently get ticketed by zealous wardens on matchdays. You will note that Fleet fans avoid it like the plague. Also there is a decent chance of getting your car keyed by local louts. Best option is the car park C at Ebbsfleet Intl.300 yards from the ground. Clearly signed. Secure and professional staff. Only £3 and ample room. Enjoy your ( hopefully fruitless) visit.

If you park in the road you will definitely get that sinking feeling when you get an £80 ticket. That could spoil any day.

....after disappointing last few games and after DOS comments after the Maidenhead game where he was obviously disappointed by the attitude of some of the players, it will be very interesting to see how the team react this afternoon. We know they can do it as proved by early results, lets hope they re kindle the earlier fire and desire they had, by 4.45pm we will know. Lets go Sutton!!!!!

Best 45min we've played since Dover away against a very good side. Keep this up and have a slightly better final product we are in danger of breaking a duck here.
As it stands we've also made the play offs.

Brilliant performance when it mattered. Well done U's!
Tony was slightly wrong at the end of commetary when he said that Aldershot had definitely made the playoffs because Ebbsfleet have a midweek game. If they collect six points come Saturday, U's, Borehamwood and Fylde all win Aldershot would drop out of the promotion places.

Soon as I saw teamsheet I believed we'd win. Well balanced, energetic etc.
Well done all!. How did Taylor play?. He is like a new signing at this critical stage of season.
