We have signed Oscar Lubwama from Swedish club Bromma Pojkarna ("The guys from Bromma", I am told, a suburb in the north of Stockholm). Oscar is 18 and originally from Kampala, Uganda.
Several members of the youth/reserve teams have also been placed on first team forms ahead of the transfer deadline.

Position?
Or did he just turn up, piss all over everybody else we've got and get signed up?

Does this sentence speak volumes about EH's future at the club?

Bromma P. is the largest club in Europe, in 2007 there were 247 teams and 3000 players. They are well known for its youth accademy, were once affiliated to Man Utd. Osca Lub. does not feature in current first tean squad. Relegated from Div 1 last season. Over to you swedish chapter!!!!!!!!

Apparently their Under 18 side won the Swedish National Championship last year so if he had anything to do with that he could be quite useful.

Why? If he's cost nought, why not try him? We can't do anything worse than lose if he plays!!!

Er, isn't the official state language of Uganda English, since Uganda was an British colony? Anyway it doesn't matter what language he speaks. And why is signing someone from a Swedish club a 'sad signing'? It's probably better than signing someone who's struggling to get a game in the Ryman 1 South, for instance (we've signed a couple of those this season). How old was Nassim Akour when we signed him (and who did we sign him from?). But I would say the number of youngsters being thrown into the team at the moment (whether home grown of from somewhere else) is probably saying alot about where this club is at the moment.

Who's been watching this new lad then, has EH been over to Swedon to scout him,or did he phone and give details like Bernard did. With the other youngsters at least its good expeareance for them and good luck to them.

If he is any good then its a good signing.I certainly don't see how its sad!In fact its very difficult to judge until we have seen him play.He is young and who knows may turn out to be our best signing ever.

Well after watching a season of tripe like we all have I don't think we can afford to turn anyone away with a bit of talent in them!
