I'm loathe to criticize referees (I'll admit to being one myself.)
BUT: a cast iron dive if ever there was one and he was right there to see it.
AND: cast iron encroachment before the penalty was taken.
(Smiffy down under - if we get to Wembley would be tempting to get on an Etihad flight - but am saving the pennies for Carlisle away next season hopefully - thereby just breaking the current record travel distance - Hobart-Gateshead.)

I would love to go and see Sutton at Wembley again, if we make it.
I was there in '69 and '81 and from my perspective I hope it would be a case of third time lucky. However , like you Hobart am saving the pennies and will have to either watch it on tv ( if available ) or listen.
Having watched us this year via the highlights ( thanks SUFC tv (: ) the standard of football is excellent - right up there with a fair few of the League 2 sides. Unfortunately the refereeing at the Conference level leaves a fair bit to be desired. How the ref. awarded that penalty is beyond me.
As to the travel distance record unless I up sticks and move to Port Arthur I feel you have the record safe!

I think Davis might have clipped him for the pen as that was what the ref was looking at.Still doesn't matter now.
