This season and last the National League sponsorship by JAKO covered playing kit, coaching and fitness staff apparel and of course the league match balls. SUFC clearly have no superstitions if the promise with the after party photo of Ross wearing the new MACRON shirt is correct, that the team will wear it on Sunday.
Perhaps those in the know at GGL can tell us if MACRON are providing the match balls for the National League next season? Hopefully only of academic interest if we get to the football league, but the JAKO ball was not particularly suited to 3G. The proof of the difference between it and the FA cup ball can be seen in Ross Worner being caught out in the Cheltenham game, when he allowed for the ball to zip through like a JAKO ball would, and the FA Cup ball was yards slower. A ball with more drag on a wet 3G surface would in my opinion provide a better spectacle.

Our playing kit this season was provided by Joma, not Jako.
The Jako balls and coaching staff jackets remain, regardless of what kit the team's wearing.

You are right about the Joma kit, thanks for the correction. I thought the JOMA deal ended at the end of this season, if not do you know how many years it has left?

Considering the new kit is made by Macron it would appear the deal has run out. The balls and coaching jackets are a deal done by the National League and not the club. Every club in the league wear and use the Jako balls and jackets.

It is 10 years from 2015/6 season, so the only chance for a better ball in the National league is a development by JAKO themselves. Some of the top balls have changed to a softer touch surface than the current JAKO ball.

Goto say I am loving the new kit. The balls and staff clothing are chosen by the league we can have who we want to supply our kit. I think I am right in saying that we will only be governed by what ball to use if we get promoted.

The new kit looks really nice, the best for a long time in my opinion. I very rarely buy replica kits, but am very tempted to part with some cash for this one. Would love a similar look for the away kit in white, with red sleeves.
