well I for one find this very interesting and would happily read one for every match. May I ask what the blog is for? Are you working in the industry, or a student? Or just an avid tactical analyst? Teams are so well organised and well drilled at this level, with tight games hinging on a minor tactical ploy that the average fan simply might never notice. |

I'd take a guess that back in your day 'tactical analysis' meant working out which opposing attackers most needed kicking off the park and which defenders were likely to have the worst hangovers no? In which case I understand why the OP would be of little interest to a dinosaur like yourself
