I dunno, the word "technology" kind of kills that image for me. It was basically woodwork, technical drawing, metalwork and electronics. They called practically everything technology then, mind. Cooking and sewing were also technology.

Mine was called Design Technology. Which is laughable really, how can one design technology? Anyhow, I left school 20 years ago and not once has it impacted my life. It did teach me one thing though, after 'designing' some rubbish model I learnt balsa wood is actually a hard wood, although it's one of the softest to touch. Strange what you remember.
