For me this is potentially one of the most interesting of the pre season matches as it puts us against a team of a fairly similar level .

A low quality game yesterday with both teams looking a little flat - probably in part due to the scorching temperatures. I feel we’ve looked fairly solid defensively so far (2 clean sheets) but lacked creativity yesterday missing Josh Taylor’s spark and no Ayunga too. The highlight being Craig Dundas making his 500th appearance in amber colours - some going that!

Low key psf - not surprising considering the ko time, the weather and England being on the box. So not the most auspicious of occasions for Dundo to reach yet another milestone (and unplanned too apparently).
Congrats to him though for joining a very elite group of Sutton legends and all the plaudits and gongs that should follow are richly deserved.
The match itself had few talking points. Bola's hitting the post their fella missing an open goal somewhat summed up what, however, was a competitive contest with both sides having players cross the line with regards to tackles. The ref made some glaring errors too - a bit match rusty you would hope.
If delboy learnt anything from yesterday afternoon could he please impart it on this thread? It was just too bloody hot for the players.

Sounds like i didn't miss a lot apart from Dundo's 500th appearance. Well done Craig.
