You can pay cash on the gate from 6pm If that is the case (and like Rambo I’ve seen absolutely no evidence of it anywhere), then I’d suggest that it’s very poor business practice not to confirm the fact either on their official site or on their twitter feed. The lack of clarification will undoubtedly be affecting the attendance to some extent and therefore costing them financially. What a strange way to operate. |

That's the first I've heard of it. Did they only tweet that this morning? If so that's rather poor form. It isn't much money but I'm a bit annoyed at paying extra money that isn't going to go to the club.

I noticed that they did exactly the same with the celebrity match they had on Sunday, only notifying of the option of paying on the gate very, very late. I suppose, as Delboy suggested, the thinking has been to see how the online ticket sales are going and, only when they know it’s not going to sell out, do they offer to sell at the gate. I hope the club aren’t suddenly developing delusions of grandeur now that they’ve moved in to their swanky new stadium. I’ve watched numerous games of theirs at Westhumble and they always came across as a decent little club with a nice set up. |

With Eventbrite, you can set it that the fees you pay for the service are either paid by the seller or passed onto to buyer. Obviously the latter has been used. As a result people who have bought online are out of pocket. That was a choice made by Dorking.

It's only £1.37 per ticket but even so, that is outrageous customer service.
Although bearing in mind it is Dorking Wanderers, I am not surprised.

I actually enjoyed buying online, because it will be the most pissant event I’ve ever bought a ticket for in advance!
