Looks like we’ll be travelling upto Harrogate on Saturday with virtually a fully fit squad - Jonah Ayunga’s a precaution with a slight groin strain (picked up in training) according to Dos.

Good luck to everyone driving up tomorrow, it’s taken me EIGHT hours from Purley. It took 2 hours round the M25 to the start of the M1, then got worse as there were pretty continuous road works, speed restrictions and tail backs all the way up. My only advice to those planning to use the M1, M18, A1M route is that there are massive road works on the A1M with the queues tailing back on to the M18 (you need to get in the left hand lane pretty early). The alternative which I was eventually able to use, is stay on the right hand lane on the M18 and continue to the M62. From there you can join the A1 north of the roadworks. Or leave at 5 a.m. Or both.

At present I’m parked where you don’t need to pay overnight. But I need to get up to buy a ticket at 8 o’clock. On a Saturday morning. So far the only good part of this trip is getting quite drunk in a Greek/Albanian restaurant.

I'll just add that I had a smooth journey up by train. And I certainly won't be up at 8am tomorrow.😁
Oh, and I also got quite drunk this evening.

Great commentary as always from Tony for what sounded like a highly creditable 2-2 draw, thanks to Captain Fantastic's converted penalty deep into injury time. I look forward to the match reports from those who attended today...

Captain Fantastic strikes again. I wasn't there but in this heat, if it's like down here, they all deserve a medal. Both teams. Onto Beastleigh next, can't make that either due to it being midweek but looking forward to next Saturday. Nice to keep our unbeaten away record going too.

A good point in the end. They hit the post at nil nil and put us under a lot of pressure. We grew into the game with Tom causing all sorts of problems. Josh was also influential in the first half.
Clough scores a great header and their keeper handled yards out of the box but wasn’t penalised by the inept officials.
We were in control of the game although under more pressure when Butler made a mistake to allow them to equalise and then they took the lead after more pressure. We had a couple of shouts for pens and then deep into injury time their defender inexplicably handled the ball. Skip did the rest. Probably a fair result in the end

I’ll second that thanks to Tony. Great job as always.
Good point for us, sounded second best overall. You’d generally take an away point.
Look forward to the Eastleigh game.

As per last season (when we also came up e against a team new to the division) we thank the centre half pairing for the 2 goals!
