Obviously deserving of his own thread. Glad he got the 500 done and good that he’ll be staying in some capacity. Thanks Dundo for all the effort down the years.

Legend.
A word that shouldn't be used lightly but is fully deserving in this case. Performed and scored for us over several seasons and at so many levels of leagues (shame we didn't get prmoted last year for you to get one in the "real" league too).
Wish you all the best elsewhere, and still here at your "home" in whatever capacity.

Truly the end of an era, and the only Sutton player on our books from before Dos's arrival.
Very pleased that Dundo made his 500th Sutton appearance before stepping down from the playing squad.

I'm amazed he still wants to keep playing regularly but glad he's staying as our fitness coach.

Legend, Sutton icon, the place won’t be the same without him. Maybe a testimonial? He deserves one.

It's going to seem very strange not having Dundo around on match days but you can't blame him for wanting to keep playing after all the hard work he has put in to keep himself at such a high level of fitness.
As well as becoming only the 8th player in U's history to reach 500 apps, he also is only the fifth to make 500 and score 100 goals for the club. He is in prestigious company as the others are Trevor Bladon, Paul McKinnon, Larry Pritchard and John Rains.
One assumes this is the end of his Sutton playing career, although he went off to H&RB before and came back a better player, so never say never. But if it is, what a tremendous servant he has been; I suspect it will be a long time before (if indeed anybody does) another reaches one of these milestones let alone both.
At least he will still have an important part to play as fitness coach.
Best of luck Dundo, true SUFC legend.
