I though Rock had a good after his howlers in the Dover v Wrexham game on Sat. However, we should have had another pen in the second half with Ross having his shirt ripped off. Rock couldn't see but should have had help from the lino.
Their fans make me laugh. Some of the comments early in the game accusing Rock of being a homer when giving us free kicks for persistent infringements were a joke. Tommy W nearly copped a whack in the face from an errant fist and rightly Rock gave the free kick only for the idiots behind moaning. I do wonder what game some people watch!
I thought we were solid yesterday. Tom B and Wish are going to cause all sorts of problems for defenders this year, as is Ross L. I don't think defenders can handle him. Good to see Kieron get some game time and he looked sharp too.
My MOM was Davis too. I thought he was absolutely fantastic and no wonder he suffered from cramp at the end.
On to Salford on Sat. Should be interesting and hopefully a big 3 points coming our way.

Anyone else think Eastleigh could be in for a long, hard season? To call them one dimensional would be kind, they were no-dimensional! None of their players looked comfortable on the ball and panic seemed to set in any time one of them got the ball at their feet in the middle of the park. Obviously we were far from our best, but as others have said it was hard to play any decent football against them. Whether Butler will get an easier 90 mins this season is very questionable.
Braintree would be the obvious choice for strugglers, scraping into the playoffs after finishing so far off the top two. Whether Eastleigh will be able to compete in a far tougher league this year and without their financier is also up for debate. If I had to wager i would say not, based on that evidence.

Talking of wagers, bookies latest odds are Braintree favourites to go down with Eastleigh 2nd favourites. They're certainly listening to you!

It's difficult to judge teams based on their performance at this time of year when they're still settling into the season but I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggling.
