I thought the ref was dreadful from where i was standing ! The ref was dreadful but even worse was the Collingwood lino, if he had done half his job correctly the ref might have given a better performance.

To me he seemed like a decent ref who didn't have the best of games rather than a poor ref of the likes of rock. The aforementioned advantage decision was particularly bad though.
Two very decent sides who both look like top 7 quality at this early stage. We played some nice football early on with fylde content to play on the counter but had Butler to thank for keeping things level after getting caught in possession a few times at the end of the half.
Testament to our central defensive pairing that Rowe had little impact and most of fyldes attacking threat came down our right, firstly the tricky 11 then his very able looking replacement. So nearly snatched it but a draw was absolutely the fair result. Clough again a joy to watch, he exudes calmness and instills confidence in those around him.
We lack a little penetration at times but we're going to be a very tough team to beat this season. I feel our attacking players haven't got going yet and there's much more to come from them.

Don't think so. He is back training with us. Dos implied the travelling was a problem for him.
