Not related to the team, but as both Jeremy and Tim were at the match v Eastleigh, I’m sure we, as a family orientated club would like to pass on our heartfelt condolences to both having learnt that their dad Guy Vine passed away this week. RIP

Listening while driving home from work I heard Tim on Radio Surrey.
He was primarily there to publicise his Plastic Elvis tour. I love his stand up but not being a fan of Elvis I don't think I'll go to see him on this tour as he said it is basically a tribute show.
Also though the interviewer brought up his support of SUFC and asked how we were getting on. He also explained that as his Dad had no interest in football it was only about 15 years ago that he started supporting Sutton.

I can relate to that. No other football fans in my family so I'd hit my teens before I really got into football. My thoughts are with Tim and his family this week. I've met him at SUFC a few times and he's a very nice guy. Thoughts about what?

Dave, I'm not sure why you added this to a three year old thread, and feel that you should have started a new one to avoid confusion as this a totally different subject.

I didn't want to start a new one when there was one already there. Obviously I was wrong - as I frequently am.
