Just what we need after Monday’s first defeat of the season - a visit from table-toppers Halifax.
I’m expecting a reaction from us on Saturday and at home we shouldn’t be fearing anyone in this league. Hopefully Dale Bennett comes back into the side after missing the Aldershot loss, but we’ll miss Collins and I’m guessing we’re still missing Nicky Bailey? Wonder if the loan market might be utilised for another centre-back 🤔.
Jamie Fullarton seems to have really improved Halifax since he took over midway through last season and they’ve started well this season (despite having an easier month of oppo’s on paper) - expecting another tough encounter on Saturday.

Looking forward to Halifax and Maidstone. It’s very rare for me to watch 3 consecutive games (working Sunday this weekend) so can’t wait.
I think we are going to start motoring pretty soon whereby other teams will find it hard to stop us. You generally see things fall into place over the next 3 months and when they do I believe we will be right there challenging.
3-0 - Saturday.

Another thing which i don't believe has been mentioned before is i believe we are a more potent attacking unit when Craig Eastmond is allowed to come forward.

I suppose for Paul, Ian, Mickey it’s a matter of balance. What do you do with JT & HB who both like to play behind the striker. |

Always a matter of balance.Play JT as a NO 10 just behind your centre forward where he can roam & draw defenders.
JT & HB are similar types of player and you can only really play one or another. On Monday we tried to accomodate both and it didn't work out.
