I'll be honest and say that assessment of our performance was harsher than I anticipated. Only four points off the top spot and we're very much in the mix at the moment. I expect a strong performance vs. Maidstone on Tuesday, and we undoubtedly have the players and management with the ambition and drive to deliver it.

Bearing in mind the references to tiredness I'm wondering what sort of team will travel to Airdrie. Also is Jonah Ayunga now fit as he hasn't even featured on the bench yet. I thought he looked quite impressive when i saw him come on in a friendly.

I thought he looked quite impressive when i saw him come on in a friendly. Jonah played for the Academy side yesterday and scored a brace in a 4-0 win, so yes, he's fit and probably a good shout for taking up to Airdrie.

I thought the same as delboy, Ayunga looked sharp in pre-season and I hope to see him in action in the first team soon. We're still looking for an effective partnership upfront, so hopefully he can help to provide that missing link...
