SUFCtv:
LIVE STREAM INFORMATION AT GGL
Bohemians vs Sutton United KO 3pm Sat 13th October.
We can confirm that we will send a live feed back to GGL from Dublin on Saturday.
Doors open to the 'Players Bar' at 2pm - the Bar and Food Hatch will be open.
Prices:
Adults (all) : £5 Youth 12-16yrs : £2 Children under 12 FREE (When accompanied by a paying Adult)
We must stress this is our 1st ever attempt to bring a live stream back from outside the UK, we face a number of technical difficulties, which we have done our best to overcome. In the event of a stream failure in the 1st half all monies will be returned.
We still seek further volunteers wishing to assist on the day as we are short handed with the entire SUFCtv team in Dublin to make it happen.

SUFCtv:
We would like to say a massive thank you to all those who attended our 1st ever live international video stream today at GGL. A special thank you to John James and Joanna Greatly for their help in running the event, without whom it would not have been possible. I think we had over 100 in the bar at one stage.

A HUGE BIG UP & a fist pump to JAMES, TERRY, ROB & TOM who worked their socks off in Dublin to make it all work from Dalymount Park.
Don’t underestimate the time and effort these chaps put in. And think about this SU broadcasting live simultaneously via radio & tv. Incredible.

I was at the game so obviously didn't see the feed back to Sutton but I'd like to add my congratulations to SUFCtv for a job very well done. We are almost starting to take this sort of thing for granted but I can remember when, for those that couldn't get to a game, the only way of getting the result from an away game was waiting for LBC to read out the non-league results. No mobiles to call of course ! But it wasn't guaranteed that LBC would read out the scores, and sometimes they got them wrong too (!), so then it was a case of hoping the next day's paper's would print them. The Daily Mail did, sometimes, the Telegraph usually did but the red tops took no notice. If you didn't know anyone who went, or didn't have a phone number, it was a case of waiting for the Herald or Advertiser to come out.
Brilliant effort SUFCtv !!

I remember having to wait until the match result and news made it to Clubcall, which cost a bloody fortune too!

I remember having to wait until the match result and news made it to Clubcall, which cost a bloody fortune too! I used to adopt a cunning trick to save a bit of money when ringing up Clubcall. It was, I believe, Tony Dolbear that provided the updates and whenever the team had lost he always started off with something like “And disappointment here at Gander Green Lane….” That was all I needed to hear, so I hung up before the cost mounted!

I particularly like the way Tony always uses Dos's formal forename Wellpaul in his excellent interviews☺.
Dave's mention of LBC reminds me of the struggle we used to have getting the coach driver (Rex) to retune the radio to LBC on the way home from away journeys. We are indeed fortunate to have SUFCTV, thankyou.
