I'm third generation too. My maternal grandfather came here but was more regularly following Tooting and Mitcham. My Dad certainly took him to the 1963 Wembley final (but I suspect granddad might have been more following the Dons probably).
And now my daughter comes along every now again - so she's fourth generation. She fell down the terraces on an early visit and spent the second half of the game grizzling with blood pouring down her leg because she didn't want to admit what had happened.

I’m the 2nd. I have introduced, with limited game time, the 3rd. He’s only 4 and materially detracts from my enjoyment when accompanying!! Give it a few years and he’ll be more regular hopefully and joined eventually by his younger brother. Dad was infrequent in the old days but became more regular when he finished up playing and when I dragged him along during my school days.

They certainly do detract from one's enjoyment of matches Gareth - lovely though they are! My grandson is a little young at the moment, but I’m sure will be coming with his dad soon. You're never too young! My daughter attended her first game at 6 days old and it would have been 1 day if the hospital had let her out

I would class myself as the first. My dad took my brother and I to the Aldershot and Middlesbrough games but he hasn't been back since. I've taken my son to quite a few, his first being the Cheltenham game a couple of years ago and Slough on Saturday being his latest so he will be the second. His most enjoyable he tells me after the exhilaration of Cheltenham were either the games against Gateshead when we won 3-0 last season or the 3-2 win over Halifax. Surprised that he didn't mention Ebbsfleet away

I’m first generation. My Dad has at best a passing interest in Football and my Mum only checks scores to have something to talk to me about and/or gauge my mood. I did drag my Dad along to games when I was a kid, he was relieved when I was old enough to go by myself. Interesting this topic came up when it did though as my Dad came with me on Saturday his first game at GGL in 8 years (and his first since FGR away in August 2016). He’s also going to join me if we ever get to Wembley

my Mum only checks scores to have something to talk to me about and/or gauge my mood. That's rather sweet and pretty much the opposite of mine. She knows how important it is to me but if I so much as mention it she groans and sighs and says "football again, how boring!" (Last time I mentioned it was to say we had beaten Leeds and were playing Arsenal in the FA Cup - first time I'd mentioned football to her in years). Actually I don't think anyone in my family of origin has even a passing interest in football, other than an Arsenal supporting aunt I see about once a year. I still don't quite know how I ended up here

Jensen did ask if we could go home now - 3 minutes after kickoff 😂- gave the crowd behind the goal a laugh tho 😂

Jensen did seem quite taken with Amberette the aardvark.
Alas, he didn't get to see her goal celebration on this occasion.

It is difficult to get relatives to watch and feel 'real' football - they are too busy watching a more comfortable version on Sky TV.
