Ah and inadvertently we talk about the 3G surface. Nothing wrong with it. If a World Cup Qualifier, a Champions League Final (in 2008 it has to be said), an FA Cup Fifth Round tie against one of the biggest teams in English football and an entire Women's World Cup can be played on one then surely there is no issue. I'd prefer playing on 3G than the bog that is Newport sharing with a rugby team. Anyway, he sounds like a proven player. Let's give him a big welcome. I know nothing about 3G surfaces, I'm only going by what some players have said to me about them, others have said they are ok. You tell me nothing wrong with them, I guess it's all about different opinions. My opinion on them for what it's worth, they seem ok, but I've never played on one, and at my age I never will, so I can't really give an honest opinion on something that I've never tried, however lots of people do. Don't worry Phil,a few people get over-protective about our 3G pitch! Thanks for the intel on McQueen hope he starts today.

I didn't mean my post to be directed solely at you. Just a general response. Having said that, if you watched the game at Oxford City v Tranmere on Tuesday their 3G pitch looked in a terrible state. The Sutton pitch doesn't.

I just noticed this on the Club web site.
"We are delighted to announce the singing of two exciting young forwards."\
What are they singing about?

You're the only one who's mentioned turtle doves!
