The club has now been presented with all of the facts and evidence around the regrettable incident at Bromley last weekend that saw the "trashing" of the toilets in the away enclosure. We have, of course, apologised profusely to our friends from Bromley. This sort of behaviour not only tarnishes the good name of this great club but costs us a significant amount of money to make good the damage caused. The people involved cannot call themselves "supporters" in any shape or form. Please understand - we do not want you ! When we are confident that the perpetrators have been positively identified, the club will impose significant sanctions. If anybody has any information that can help to confirm our identifications, please do get in touch. davef@suttonunited.net Bruce & Dave

Wow. Great day indeed then. When we are back in what does it mean. Specifics?

Wow. Great day indeed then. When we are back in what does it mean. Specifics? Well in the FA Cup earlier in the season when the opposition fielded an ineligible player against Corinthian Casuals they were placed straight through to the next round. But a few years ago when Concord did the same thing we were forced to replay them at our place. So in conclusion, who the hell knows, probably not even the FA yet

Our Youth team was expelled from the FA Youth cup this season for the 'mildest' form of ineligibility which is not getting an International Clearance for one player when one is required. So there is not likely to be any tolerance shown in FA competitions.
The offence which Big Al referred to was a League decision about the points and Sutton had sent off the registration papers, they just hadn't checked the registration was approved in time, and an unusual delay to the process meant the player was not cleared.

Assume or presume nothing. The FA don't always go on precedent and without knowing the facts no one here is in any position to make a judgement.
Let's see how this pans out but for the moment Bromley are who we need to concern ourselves with on the pitch not off it.

As AndyK says the FA will listen to the reasons, quite often there can be mitigating circumstances as there was in our case, rather than simply not filing the forms.
