Have a very merry Christmas everyone.
Why does the Sutton 'keeper need to take two bottles of drink on to the pitch at the start ?

I'm guessing it's because he wants to and it works for him. Don't suppose it matters really.

Two different bottle tops, ones got whisky in and the other water, it’s so he can have a drink whilst waiting for the ball as the ball is with the other goalie when he is killing time. That’s what goalies do for the 30 minutes that the ball is not being kicked.

He's got more bottle than most keepers, for sure.

Or whisky.

Aren’t goalkeepers notoriously superstitious? Could be that
