I'm gobsmacked. One of our best creative players. Are we that far out on the budget ?
We signed Mc Queen and he has yet to make a start . As we are now back in the Trophy won't we need something different?

"Unhappy" was a word repeated a few times. Wonder where he read that... I find it so frustrating.
A minor miracle indeed, and another 12 years please Dos! Perhaps Josh has gone to free up a short loan for a defender? Either way complete trust in the club, just don't lose lol.

This is a forum to discuss views. It signals to me we are reverting to lumping the ball forward rather than playing to feet. Yes he hasn't been in the side in the last few games but if we want to change our style of play for a particular game then we have less options. Dos has said before he was an important part of his plans. we have to have a plan B sometimes. Are we going to allow him to be cup tied for trophy games as Maidstone are still involved ?

I am always gobsmacked about how often you are gobsmacked. We don't know what goes on away from matches and Dos has a pretty decent record at this club wouldn't you say?
BTW, Darren McQueen has made one start.

I m not surprised at this move. I think Josh needs to retain match sharpness by playing. Since his return from an absence due to personal reasons, he has not quite reached the level he was at before his break. He hasn't run at opponents with the same success or distributed the ball as well. Perhaps also the team role best suited to him is the one Eastmond now plays. Josh could replace Easty if Easty were injured or suspended, but he is not going to displace him.
If it was simply a numbers game you might ask what McQueen had done to retain a shirt over Taylor, but they don't have the same role and we are told McQueen is given time to get fitter.

Absolutely no problem with you posting your view, I’m just surprised and gobsmacked that you’re surprised and gobsmacked. If we had a reserve side playing at a decent level it might make more sense retaining players who were unlikely to make the first team. But we haven’t and the influx of new players must push them further down the pecking order. It must make sense to loan out those who the management team think have potential and ship out the others, surely?

It must make sense to loan out those who the management team think have potential and ship out the others, surely? We talked about that on Tuesday. Maybe the word should have been disappointed. I don't disagree with what you are saying but my main concern is that once a player like Taylor goes on loan we tend never to see him in the amber shirt again. If he goes on loan to get games and to help the budget that's great especially if he is only warming the bench with us at the moment. For me he is what is now termed as a natural NO 10 and is the only one in our squad who can play that role. I may be wrong but it signals to me that we will be playing route one football until the end of the season. I'm also a little concerned that we may be short on numbers especially if we have a long Trophy campaign. I fully expected him to start over the xmas period to rest other players but it wasn't to be. Now there maybe other internal reasons why he has gone on loan of which we are not aware so i await Dos's comments with interest.

I'm also disappointed to see Josh leave, but Sutton can recall him after 28 days, as happened with Jonah. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Josh playing in our colours again before the season's end.
