Dos has gone on record several times saying how highly thought of Josh is. This move could benefit both clubs and the player. Hopefully he gets plenty of game time, helps to keep Maidstone up resulting perhaps, in one less long journey for most of us next season, and comes back on form playing well so if he does get recalled can go straight into the squad fit and playing well.
Also I don't subscribe to the long ball theory. Didn't see much of that on Tuesday or in other recent games. In fact some of the passing was sublime. The end product let us down a little though. I think we can mix it up when it suits. We have an outstanding team for the budget we have.

Echo JR above, and reiterate the point that it's actually rare that we loan a player out "just to cut the wage bill". Aside from keeping a player match fit, there's also the case of them potentially harming the chances of the teams around us. Remember Lafayette v Macclesfield last season? There are plenty of reason for a player to go out on loan, and in some cases it could be more beneficial to the team that they do on so many different levels.

That's interesting. Glad we have been able to do it.

So not all one-way traffic between Sutton and Maidstone!
Doesn't sound as if Jamie's injury is too serious, so this may be a short-term arrangement.

Thought Tom B may have gone out on loan before Josh.
