I'm always sorry to see Non-League clubs having problems because of size regulations for a certain league level. Aylesbury are the latest to be threatened with relegation. I seem to remember we had our own problems with changing room sizes. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46905935

Yes it is a shame. However the FA did notify all clubs in 2014. I have sympathy too but surely plans should have been put in place to prevent this?

Something like that is easier said than done though. It sounds expensive, for one. Perhaps Aylesbury have been trying to raise the money for the work, but for a club of that size it's no mean feat. Thinking about it, a ground share might have been the only way forward - but with whom? Aylesbury United (not the same club!) already share with Chesham and there aren't exactly loads of clubs in the area.
Sadly, relegation could prove even more expensive to the club in the long run.

Whilst that's true clubs were offered grants of up to 70% of the cost as well.

Didn't realise that. I'd guess there must have been some other factors at play then because otherwise it would be borderline suicidal for the club. Maybe there was a problem with planning permission or something?

I sympathise with them, too, but there are a fair few grounds they could share while the work is carried out - Beaconsfield, Marlow, Chalfont St Peter, Berkhamsted, Dunstable etc
