Great news all round. Anyone know how long Roarie has signed for?

Yup, great to have Roarie back in amber. But he won't be able to pick up exactly where he left off two years ago, and will need a bit of time to re-integrate into the side, so let's not over-burden him with expectations.

This undoubtedly shows our intention to fight for a play off spot but blows a big hole in the budget. I expect some players to go as a result of these signings.

I’m fascinated to see what Paul & Ian see as their first 11. Any predictions?

Apart from the obvious positive of having the best possible management team in charge of this club. What having one man in charge for 10 years allows us to have that no one else at this level of football has, is the consistency in that players can really call this place home. Dos allows players to leave and progress their careers and so many of them want to return later down the line. So many clubs change their managers like the wind, very proud to support a club doing things the right way with the perfect man in charge.

You’ve got to give it to Paul and all the backrokm staff at the club, they don’t stop working hard for the benefit of Sutton United football club. Brilliant. At least no one gave away who we were signing today, I mean "Roarie Deacon spotted at West Sutton station" Why he could have been going anywhere

A superb couple of additions today to our already quality-laden squad! Admittedly I know very little about Dylan Kearney but 24 goals in 27 games this season indicates he could be a real find for us. Deacs of course needs little introduction to us Sutton fans but I'm delighted he's back down here after his stint in Scotland - very much looking forward to seeing both in action hopefully on Saturday.

Good to see Roarie back although I'm losing track of all the players currently in the squad.

Going back to the online ticketing - things rather escalated elsewhere last night! - it should now be working, with a slight caveat that for some reason the basket widget (that appears on the right hand side) isn't quite working yet. The standalone basket page works, so when you've added tickets to your basket, you'll then see a "View Basket" button, but the new items won't be reflected in the widget - I'm hoping to fix that this evening.
