So another season finishes with a bit of a naff result but we finished 14th, and weirdly less points than last season, although I think it can be said we played much better football.
So we say goodbye to Histon, and one of Salisbury, Havant, Braintree and Stortford.
Also bye bye to Bedford, Weston, and Hayes, who we helped go down this season with todays match (more said about that elsewhere!)
Hello's to our old friends St Albans after their sabbatical in the Conf National. And also to a couple of old adversaries....Bath City and Hampton and Richmond.
In terms of play offs, 2 of the following could join them all.. From the Southern Prem : Team Bath, Kings Lynn, Maidenhead Utd and Hemel Hempsted From The Ryman : Bromley, Billericay, Chelmsford and AFC Wimbledon.
Personally, and as we already have one Bath team in, I'd be happy with Maidenhead (because its tinpot!) or kings Lynn (although there may be some league jiggery pokery if they win the play offs).
As for the Ryman, and in agreement with Taz, I want an Essex side in please...I never thought I'd hear myself say that! Bromley....well as a Sutton supporter I don't need to explain that, and as for AFC, who in my opinion shouldn't even be in the play offs...I'll stop there, I'm winding myself up here...

I'd be happy to swap Braintree for Chelmsford. I'd like us to be playing Salisbury and Havant again next season.
Hemel and King's Lynn would (like Chelmsford) be new grounds for most of us. KL strictly belong in the North, but with three northern sides relegated from the Conference, promoting both BGB Southern League teams to the South would balance things out.

Can't say I'll be heartbroken if we lose Bishops Stortford or Braintree, and I wouldn't mind Maidenhead back either. Yes, it has to be an Essex club too!
