Unlike last season, there have been very few updates about SCR on the forum this season. As a consequence, I've only just noticed they're sitting top of the Combined Counties League five points, ahead of Chertsey Town, although the latter have 7 games in hand(!)
Presumably SCR would still have a chance of promotion as one of the best placed runners up, but with 14 divisions running parallel in the 9th tier, I'm not altogether sure how the logistics of runner up promotion works at this level...
Still, an impressive achievement to be top of the table at this point in time. |

I believe and I might be wrong that this year it is a strict 1 up situation.
With a number of clubs being demoted due to dressing room sizes that might open the door for more promotions depending on how the FA choose to decide that.

Anyone know why Chertsey have so many games in hand? Hopefully they will drop a few points due to fixture congestion
